We are looking for a Project Manager who is passionate about improving learning in schools and helping children and teachers succeed. The Project Manager will be responsible for the direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control and completion of projects, while remaining aligned with strategy, brand, commitments and goals of the organization. The Project Manager has the authority to run the project on a day-to-day basis. Verify that the project produces the required deliverables of quality, within the specified constraints of time and cost. Manage resources, schedules, financials and adhere to established processes. This also includes management of issues, risks and project change requests to ensure successful and on-time project delivery. Contribute to process improvement initiatives as it relates to improving project delivery.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Devise and manage detailed production schedules for multiple projects
  • Track and manage a large number of digital projects at the same time
  • Manage the risk, issue and change resolution process, and work with other leaders to take corrective action as needed
  • Oversee the delivery of projects/programs on time, within scope and on budget
  • Interface with the Head of Production and Head of Digital Business to define project priorities and implementation opportunities and challenges, and keep them up-to-date with project risks and opportunities
  • Manage resources, negotiating and managing freelancers where necessary
  • Run resourcing scenarios based on probabilities of new business

Education and Experience:

  • Project management qualification (PMP) or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years project management experience
  • Be familiar with technical language or have some previous technical skills

  • Credibility as a project leader
  • Theoretical and practical project management knowledge, understanding of Agile methodologies, Scrum, Kanban
  • Experience in strategic planning, risk management and/or change management
  • Facilitation, negotiation and problem resolution skills. Ability to build a strong network and relationships at executive levels with technology and solutions, customers and vendor groups
  • Proficiency in project management software tools
  • Budget, cost and profitability management skills
