Type: Part Time – freelance
Are you a maths specialist or an education professional development consultant with a passion for mathematics? Then come join our team of primary maths mastery experts who are working to help every child succeed in the mathematics classroom.
Maths mastery is based on the transformational approach to mathematics education developed by Singapore. The success of this approach in UK classrooms has created a growing demand for training, and we are growing to meet that demand.
The pillars of maths mastery have been refined and tested through over 30 years of pedagogical research and implementation in the highest-performing countries around the globe. And we are on a mission to make it go further.
Imagine a world where every child can understand and love maths. That’s what we’re building — and we need you to help make it happen.
MNP Training Consultants empower teachers with the skills and techniques they need to teach effective mathematics for all children, regardless of attainment level. We are looking for passionate, dedicated professionals to expand our freelance consultancy team, and help us deliver training to educators and schools across Scotland.
As a Training Consultant, you will provide tailored Inset training and support to a growing number of schools that have implemented our programme. You will also lead maths mastery workshops and act as an ambassador for MNP.
As this is a consultancy role, its working requirements can be managed alongside your current job. We offer comprehensive training on how to deliver the programme — the more our trainers succeed, the more children benefit.
So, what’s it like to work for MNP? One of our trainers explains:
“Working with Maths — No Problem! has allowed me to share a high impact maths programme with teachers who are keen to make a huge difference in their schools. It’s helped me develop an even deeper understanding of what works best in maths lessons and why… The Maths — No Problem! team are fantastic to work with: friendly, professional and proactive.”
Ideally, you have experience in primary maths as a maths lead, maths specialist, CPD provider or a member of the SLT. Previous experience with the Maths — No Problem! programme in KS1 and KS2 is highly valued but not necessary. If you’re willing to learn, we’re willing to teach.
So if you’re an education trainer and have an interest in the Singapore maths approach, we’d love to hear from you.
