A World-Class Enquiry into the Power of Effective Assessment Methods in Mathematics

Join world-experts, influential practitioners, and like-minded professionals for this special one day maths conference. Featuring keynote presentations by renowned experts including Tim Oates and Dr Yeap Ban Har, the MNP Annual Conference is your chance to hear cutting edge research and best assessment methods in teaching from the world’s best maths mastery practitioners.

So, why focus on assessment for the 2018 MNP Annual Conference? Effective formative assessment can act as a crystal ball into pupil learning. When teaching children in Key Stage 1 and Key Stage 2, assessment allows us to spot struggles in pupils at crucial stages before they happen. It empowers us to course correct when we need to, and to proactively guide pupils down the the right paths towards a stable, lifelong understanding of mathematics — regardless of attainment level.

That’s why we’ve brought together thought-leaders and world-renowned maths mastery experts for this special one day event. A unique continuing professional development conference designed for non-specialist teachers and maths experts alike, the MNP Annual Conference connects you to a fresh network of ideas and good people.
