Dara Ryan

Dara Ryan is deputy head at Nahda Academy in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. She helps teachers in Saudi Arabia and surrounding countries who use Maths — No Problem! to create a maths mastery curriculum that is adapted to Middle Eastern culture. Over the past several years, Dara has developed a bespoke approach to journaling with teachers and EAL students that has proven highly successful in improving language skills, critical thinking and creativity. She is a strong advocate for the effectiveness of maths mastery in helping learners build self-confidence and conceptual understanding.
