Tim Oates

Tim Oates is group director of research at Cambridge University Press & Assessment and a Fellow of Churchill College, Cambridge. He is an author of many policy papers including Could Do Better: Using international comparisons to refine the National Curriculum in England. He was chair of the Expert Panel for Review of the National Curriculum from 2010 to 2013. He was awarded a CBE in 2015 for services to education and continues to provide advice on educational improvement to domestic government and governments around the world.
