Coherence
A curriculum that builds concepts progressively, ensuring deep understanding. This coherence benefits teachers by providing a clear roadmap for instruction and students by fostering connections between mathematical ideas, leading to solid and transferable knowledge.
Structure
A clear framework for both teachers and students, enabling consistent progress and reducing cognitive load on teaching staff. Allows students to focus on mastering new concepts while building upon previously learned skills. As a result, students develop a strong foundation in mathematics, leading to increased confidence and improved problem-solving abilities.
Mathematical Fluency
Empowers students to approach complex problems with confidence and creativity. By developing strong foundational skills and conceptual understanding, students are better equipped to apply their knowledge in various contexts — fostering a deeper appreciation for mathematics and its real-world applications.
Support
Begin teaching mastery immediately with all the lessons you need to teach the entire curriculum at the highest level. Eliminates the time-consuming task of finding and writing lessons, allowing you to focus on what matters most: delivering exceptional mathematics education to your students.

Built On Research
Educational Research and Learning Theories
Built on solid foundations of educational research and learning theories, our programme is forged from research: Constructivism, based on the work of Jean Piaget and Lev Vygotsky; Cognitive Load Theory, from John Sweller; Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract Approach, influenced by Jerome Bruner’s theories, Growth Mindset, based on Carol Dweck’s research; and metacognitive strategies based on John Flavell and other’s research.
These research-based approaches ensure that our Primary Mathematics Series provides a comprehensive, effective framework for mathematics education, promoting deep understanding and long-term retention of mathematical concepts.
International Best Practice and Empirical Data
In developing the most effective mathematics curriculum, we took a worldwide view in search for proven best practices and successful approaches.
Singapore, with its remarkable performance in international assessments like TIMSS and PISA, caught our eye. The Singapore approach, with its emphasis on problem-solving and visual representations of mathematical concepts, became a cornerstone of our curriculum. We also looked at Japan and found the Japanese lesson study, with a strong emphasis on mathematical reasoning and collaborative teacher development, inspiring. In addition to these two countries of inspiration, we have engaged with educational research globally in our creation of the Primary Maths Series — making it truly a comprehensive, world-class mathematics education.
Inclusive Design for Enhanced Learning
Looking past the content, we’ve paid meticulous attention to the design and layout of our materials with accessibility in mind, ensuring effectiveness for all learners. With dyslexia-friendly design, colour vision deficient considerations, cognitive load management, visual clarity, and flexible digital resources, our programme is accessible for all students.
We use purpose built fonts, adequate spacing, colour schemes carefully selected to be distinguishable for colour vision deficiencies, and visually clear images for those with visual processing difficulties. Our materials are structured to optimize information processing and our digital platform meet the WCAG 2.2 (Web Content Accessibility Guidelines) Level AA allowing for maximum inclusivity.
