Teaching Maths for Mastery Course

Learn the essentials to make maths mastery happen in your school

The Singapore method of teaching maths for mastery is a proven approach that boosts teaching confidence, subject knowledge and fosters an in depth understanding of mathematics in students of every attainment level. Now, this game-changing approach has arrived in New Zealand!

This Maths — No Problem! one-day course introduces the key pedagogical research and ideas that inform the effective teaching practices used in high-performing Asian nations like Singapore. Over the course of a few hours, you’ll gain a strong understanding of the concepts, strategies, and skills needed to make maths mastery happen in your school. You’ll leave inspired and equipped to introduce proven strategies in your school — right away.

The best part? No prior experience with MNP or maths mastery is required! We’ve designed this workshop to cater to anyone looking to make the right maths changes in their school. Wherever you’re at on your maths journey, we’re excited to have you.

Seats are just $260 +GST. Seating is limited.

Alex Laurie: NZ Lead Trainer

Alex is a primary school teacher from New Zealand. She first became aware of the Singapore approach while teaching in England. Recognising the significant impact it had on her own teaching, and her students’ results and enthusiasm for the subject, she joined Maths — No Problem! with the belief that Aotearoa New Zealand schools could benefit from the same opportunities the approach provided teachers and students in England.
