This advanced, full-day course will prepare primary educators to teach whole numbers as part of a maths mastery approach. Learn how to teach pupils whole numbers in various contexts including nominal, ordinal, cardinal and in measures. Delve deeply into number bonds and place value. Working through real school lessons, explore the use of concrete and pictorial representations toward mastering formal algorithms, and much more. Participants who successfully complete the course will receive a printable certificate of completion for their records.
