Discover practical ways to develop children’s mathematical vocabulary and reasoning through structured talk. This session will provide strategies to encourage effective questioning, support children to articulate their thinking and build confidence in mathematical discussions.

We’re delighted to welcome Suzi Telford, Equity Lead (Oracy) for the South West London Maths Hub and KS2 Maths Lead at Belleville Primary School, to this session. Suzi’s work focuses on empowering every child to access and articulate mathematical thinking through talk.
