8:50–9:15 | Arrival, welcome, and an introduction to maths at Sandringham. |
9:20–10:40 | Free classroom observations. Look out for the door signs indicating when the maths lessons are taking place. |
10:40–11:00 | Reflections on the morning and any questions. Break and read the lesson plan for our focused lesson (Year 6). |
11:00–11:50 | Focused lesson taught by Dave Adams. |
11:50–12:00 | Reflections on the morning and any questions. |
12:00–12:30 | Lunch |
12:30–12:50 | Maths in EYFS. |
12:50-14:00 | Post-lesson discussion and thoughts with Dave Adams. Book look and Q&A. |
This open morning will provide school leaders and class teachers with an opportunity to see maths in action and gain insight into a comprehensively researched and evidence-based approach to maths mastery.
Throughout the morning, you will have the opportunity to observe a KS1 and a KS2 lesson, look at our journalling and workbooks, and answer any questions you have about implementing the programme in your school.
A member of staff from Maths — No Problem! will be available during the morning to answer your questions about the programme.
