An introductory guide to using the Foundations programme in your Early Years setting. Get a step-by-step introduction to using Maths — No Problem! Foundations, and learn effective classroom techniques for teaching Early Years.

Course Objectives

This course is designed to nurture the following:

  1. An introductory understanding of each component of the Foundations Programme and how it all fits together
  2. An introduction on how to use the Foundations materials

Who this is course intended for?

This professional development course is intended for Reception classroom teachers and maths leads who are developing their understanding of the key principles and theories of the mastery approach in an EYFS setting.

Craig Parkinson

Craig Parkinson is a trainer, consultant, and strengths-based coach. Craig has been involved in education as a Physics and Maths teacher since 2004. For the past 10 years, he has worked with almost 9,000 teachers and senior leaders across the UK in almost all types of educational establishments, helping them integrate the research-based findings of Maths – No Problem! and Visible Learning.
