Forward planning isn’t about starting again. It’s about knowing what to keep and what to refine. As schools look ahead to the next academic year, there is often a tension between addressing gaps and managing workload. Too often this results in additional layers: more plans, more interventions, more pressure. Sometimes without improving impact. This webinar reframes forward planning as a process of iteration, not reinvention. Drawing on Maths — No Problem! principles, we will explore how to:

• Interpret gaps without overreacting or overcorrecting

• Identify and learn from high-impact teaching; those lessons where everything seems to click

• Refine and replicate effective practice through deliberate iteration

• Move teaching to a higher level of resolution, where small changes increase clarity, precision and impact Rather than adding more, the focus is on improving what is already there so that strong practice becomes consistent practice.
