Each Math — No Problem! lesson begins with the Explore task, starting the day of math learning off with a hands-on, real world problem and strengthening students’ critical-thinking skills.
Strong conceptual understanding
Lessons move beyond rote memorization and deepen understanding of mathematical concepts with the Concrete-Pictorial-Abstract approach — a three-step learning system using multiple representations in which students build robust, relational understanding.
Mathematical communication and reasoning
Every student is encouraged to participate in each lesson through multiple means, including discussion, group work and journaling, which makes everyone feel confident at articulating their reasoning.
Clear outcomes and progression
The program is thoughtfully planned out in a spiral curriculum where each unit builds on prior learning to promote continuity and support clear learner progress.

Students can see themselves in Andre and Marie-Claude, as well as our cast of other characters, and see their world represented by the flora and fauna specifically selected from Canadian landscapes.
